GREENVILLE, SC – Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. (BLE) is proud to announce the recent promotions of two exemplary professionals within the organization. Mr. Jason Jansante, PE and Mrs. Erika Thompson have both been promoted to the prestigious positions of Senior Engineer and Senior Scientist, respectively, in recognition of their outstanding contributions, experience and exceptional expertise.
Mrs. Erika Thompson, now a Senior Scientist within the Environmental Services department at BLE, has amassed over two decades of professional experience, establishing herself as a seasoned project manager in the environmental industry. With a profound knowledge of due diligence and the South Carolina Brownfields program, Mrs. Thompson has made substantial contributions to the success of numerous projects. Her professional experience includes Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, Underground Storage Tank projects, and Brownfields. Ms. Thompson is consistently recognized for outstanding technical writing skills and working knowledge of ASTM, State, and Federal agency guidelines. Ms. Thompson holds a B.S. in Environmental Geology from Hanover College.
Mr. Jansante, a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, brings 9 years of professional experience to his new role. He is responsible for leading geotechnical-related construction projects, delivering invaluable engineering services that encompass field exploration, laboratory testing, engineering analyses, and consulting. Mr. Jansante’s experience extends to the analysis and evaluation of subsurface data for shallow and deep foundations, pavement design, seismic design parameters, and liquefaction potential. He has also played a pivotal role in numerous geotechnical projects within the energy industry, including coal-powered and nuclear-powered plants, as well as various projects in collaboration with the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT). His project portfolio stretches across the East Coast and international boundaries. Mr. Jansante holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University, and is a registered Professional Engineer in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia.
