Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc (BLE) Announces Senior Management Transitions

Greenville, SC – Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. (BLE) is pleased to announce recent leadership transitions and promotions within the company, which began in January 2023.

Dan Bunnell, PE, has transitioned to a part-time position as a Senior Corporate Consultant and Senior Vice President. This role will allow him to support the technical development of professional staff and various business operations. He will also provide support to BLE’s Executive Committee, Loss Prevention and Legal Committee, and BLE’s Director of Technical Services.

Jeff Helvey, PE, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Director of the Solid Waste Engineering Division. As a senior executive, Mr. Helvey will have management and leadership responsibilities across all of BLE’s business operations. Mr. Helvey has served in a variety of capacities during his 24-year tenure at BLE, and we are very pleased for him to move into this well-deserved position. We are confident that he will be an excellent and innovative operations leader to move BLE forward into an era of evolving business practice and technology.

Richard Hall will transition from his role as Corporate Controller to a part-time position. Mr. Hall has served BLE for over 15 years. During that time, he has steered BLE through financial growth and change, with a steady and dependable hand. Mr. Hall will continue to share the knowledge and methods of BLE’s financial operating systems, while mentoring his replacement. Stephen Dowd has recently joined BLE as Assistant Controller. His prior experience consisted of Accounting Manager and Assistant Controller in various industries for nearly 10 years. We are grateful to have Stephen on the team and we anticipate many shared accomplishments in the future.

Kenn Sanders has joined BLE as the new Senior Recruiter. Mr. Sanders will lead the company’s recruiting efforts through active pursuit of candidates and relationships

with community partners. His years of prior experience in business development, sales, and recruiting have prepared him well for this vital role at BLE and this next step in his career. We are pleased to have Kenn join BLE and look forward to many years of success together.

Andrew Colby was recently promoted to a new role as Columbia Branch Manager. Mr. Colby joined BLE in 1999 and has led BLE’s Electrical Leak Location (ELL) and landfill Construction Quality Control (CQC) departments. As the Branch and Business Manager in Columbia, he will be responsible for recruiting and staff development, client management, and business development. We look forward to all that Andrew will accomplish in this new role.
