A case study featuring BLE, its environmental site assessments, and mitigation recommendation for a particular project site was recently published by LandScience.
BLE was engaged by the owners of a former industrial manufacturing facility to conduct environmental site assessments on the property. With plans to redevelop the property, the owners entered into a Voluntary Cleanup Contract and Brownfields agreement with SCDHEC. BLE conducted soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion assessments. Based on the findings, our professionals recommended a vapor mitigation system that addressed the environmental risks and was approved by SCDHEC. BLE will conduct follow up sampling twice between now and February 2020 to evaluate the system’s effectiveness.
