Pickens County, South Carolina – Beginning in 2018, BLE was hired by Pickens County to provide project oversight and Chapter 1 building code inspections for the new Detention Center project. Total project costs were $25 million and construction will be completed in 2019.

On behalf of Pickens County, BLE used in-house building code inspectors and provided the building, plumbing, mechanical and electrical inspections during construction of the facility. Some of these inspections included foundations, pressure testing, in-wall inspections, ductwork, building framing, above ceiling inspections, and final walk-through inspections.
