Bringing stability and care to your most important structures.
Institutional buildings are the foundations of our communities and include facilities such as schools, hospitals, museums, cultural centers, airports, and court houses. With the varying use and appearance of these buildings, the design and materials used can be very diverse. BLE’s multidisciplinary team has the experience and expertise necessary to support institutional clients from the early planning stages through design and construction.
Our expert knowledge makes us a reliable partner for campus planning. BLE has vast experience in new construction and renovation projects including campus housing, stadiums, parking garages, administrative buildings and state-of-the-art medical complexes. Whether you are planning a single building expansion or an entire new campus, BLE has the capability to take on small and large-scale projects.
Similar to infrastructure projects, funding for institutional projects often involves multiple parties. While the funding could be solely private or public, it may also involve a Public-Private Partnership. This type of joint venture allows for shared use and shared cost, ultimately benefiting the common community.
When working with government-owned institutional entities, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contracts are common. Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contracts are awarded to a qualified vendor when the GSA is unable to determine, above a specified minimum, the precise quantities of supplies or services the government will require during the contract period. BLE has been awarded many IDCs and has vast experience working on public projects within these stringent qualifying standards.
